10x8 gelatin silver print made by Rosenfeld and Sons believed to have been photographed in 1954. Image of the U.S.S. DOMINANT, hull #431, underway showing a port bow view. The USS DOMINANT, also known as AM-431, was a minesweeper built in 1954 by C. Hiltebrant Dry Dock Company of Kingston, New York. Vessel trials were held on Long Island Sound October 19, 1954 and she was delivered to the New York Naval Shipyard, Brooklyn, November 3, 1954. Stamped on print verso lower right in blue ink: "MORRIS ROSENFELD / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR / 116 NASSAU STREET, N.Y. / Phone BEekman 3-4970" and handwritten in pencil below, "#8".
