Full model, 1/8"=1' scale, of Los Angeles class submarine USS PITTSBURGH with cutaway hull showing complete interior less classified sections of engine room. Made by Greg McKay. Attached to blocks on wooden base. Body and sail are gray and black, nose and underside are red. Sail has 3 camoflage parts, 2 figures of men. 6-bladed brass propeller at stern. Two cutaway sections on starboard side shows detailed engine space aft, living and work space forward. Red arrow in forward section highlights bunk of Petty Officer First Class Joseph Mikolajczak. 1 figure in aft section, 4 forward. 45-1/2 " long; 8-1/2" tall overall; 10-1/4" tall to top of sail; 5-1/4" wide at fin; approx 4" diameter.
