Photograph; starboard view of wreck of lumber schooner WILLIAM BOARDMAN (bu. 1864, Essex, CT); caption in reference below reads, "The two masted lumber schooner WILLIAM BOARDMAN ashore at Eastham, June 13, 1891. This unlucky schooner was refloated and completed her journey to New York but when she returned, bound for Scituate, Mass. with a cargo of coal, she ran afoul of the Chatham Bars and was a total loss.
