Large scrimshaw tooth; made by actor Raymond McKee, dated 5/13/22; depicts whaling scenes including the CHARLES W. MORGAN and Caribbean Island scenes during the filming of "Down to the Sea in Ships"; inscribed "West Indies/ Apr. 7, '22" and "To/ Margot/ from Raymond/ McKee/ je t'aime"; Margot is probably his co-star and future wife, Marguerite Courtot. Collection of the actor Raymond McKee who starred in the 1922 silent film "Down to the Sea in Ships", which also featured the whaling vessel CHARLES W. MORGAN.
