5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on June 4, 1925. Port bow view of the express cruiser SAZARAC underway. This vessel was the first George Townsend SAZARAC, built in 1923 by Great Lakes Boat Building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was powered by Hall-Scott Invaders, and is seen flying the owner's private signal and the pennant of the Indian Harbor Yacht Club (Greenwich, CT). Stamped on original negative sleeve: "12156-F". Handwritten: "June 4, 1925 / Sazarac / Motor Boating / Commuters Story / Box 1070". Notation lower right of prints possibly sent to: "Chap (Chapman) / Owner / Hall Scott / Great Lakes".
