Sopwith's J Class America's Cup challenger ENDEAVOR, work together beneath the "Park Avenue" boom to hoist the mainsail. This deck view shows a close-up of the crew along the port side. ENDEAVOR was a British challenger, she was designed by Charles E. Nicholson and built by Camper & Nicholson Yard, England 1934. Stamped on back in purple oval: "MORRIS ROSENFELD / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR / 116 NASSAU ST. N.Y. / Phone Beekman 3-4970". Handwritten on back: "Endeavour I 1937".
