10x8 gelatin silver print taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on September 2, 1934. View of Harold S. Vanderbilt at the helm of the J Class Hudson River Sloop, RAINBOW (#J5). RAINBOW was designed by W. Starling Burgess and was the last America's Cup defender built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company (1934). She had a revision by Bath Iron Works at Bristol, RI in 1936. Her sail number was changed to J4 in 1937. Harold S. Vanderbilt was the Commodore of 3 America's Cup defenders during the 1930's. Stamped on back in dark oval: "MORRIS ROSENFELD / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR / 116 NASSAU STREET, N.Y. / Phone Beekman 3-4970". Handwritten on back: "H. S. Vanderbilt - at wheel of Rainbow 1934".
