Marine Transport Lines uniform shirt worn aboard tanker CHEMICAL PIONEER by John Edward Wilbur. Long sleeved, khaki button-down shirt with two breast pockets which have button flaps. Printed above left breast pocket is red flag with white diamond, yellow flagpole with yellow writing "QUALITY". Printed in blue inside diamond "MTL/ 175". Printed in blue below flag "Marine Transport Lines". Label sewn inside back of neck "65% DACRON POLYESTER/ 35% COMBED COTTON/ PERMA PRESS/ MARDAC/ POPLIN", on reverse are washing instructions.
