8 x 10 gelatin silver print taken by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1962. Port beam view of the 12 meter sloop WEATHERLY (US 17) under sail. Shoreline and houses visible in background. Stamped on back in purple: "PHOTO BY / MORRIS ROSENFELD & SONS / 175 RIVERSIDE DRIVE / MORRIS ROSENFELD & SONS / 175 RIVERSIDE DRIVE / NEW YORK, NY 10024 / PHONE (212) 787-6653". Also stamped: "PHOTO / STANLEY ROSENFELD". WEATHERLY was a US America's Cup trial boat 1958, with Arthur Knapp, Jr. as skipper. Her design was modified by A.E. Luder, Jr. for the 1962 America's Cup race, where she was skippered by Emil "Bus" Mosbacher. WEATHERLY was used as a "tune-up" boat for INTREPID for the 1970 America's Cup trials and her skipper then, was George Hinman.
