4 x 5 Kodak safety negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons in New London, CT, 1936. Port beam view of the motor yacht SEA PUSS, owned by John T. Pratt, Jr. in 1936. SEA PUSS was designed and built by Consolidated Shipbuilding Corporation in 1933. She had two gas engines and measured 65 feet in length. Her home port was Glen Cove, Long Island. Stamped on original negative sleeve: "75384F / NEW LONDON / 1936 / 4258". Handwritten on negative sleeve: "Sea Puss". Groton or New London shoreline in background of negative (cropped from prints).
