8 x 10 glass plate negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1915. Image taken as part of long term commissioned work and documentation for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, ranging from 1910 through the 1940s. View of a lineman working on a junction box for the installation of a new public branch exchange. Western Electric Company box seen on desk, while the AT&T lineman is seen kneeling to adjust the junction box mounted on the wall below a desk. His leather lineman's kit and handset are seen spread out on the floor beside him as he pulls cable to the junction box. A calendar on the wall displays the months of March, April, and May, of 1915. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "3129 / Telephone Co / Plant Dept / Mr. Lynch Lecture / Box 245".
