Image taken as part of long term commissioned work and documentation for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, ranging from 1910 through the 1940s. View of horses pulling covered wagons across the desert. Wagons have the Bell corporate logo on the side panels. A telephone pole stands in the foreground. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "#2278-A / 222-12 / Box 221". Date of this copy negative is 1915 or 1916, original date of photograph unknown.
