Image taken as part of long term commissioned work and documentation for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, ranging from 1910 through the 1940s. View of a telephone company land surveyor, probably seen in Nevada, circa 1915. Man seen standing with survey equipment with a large snow covered, mountainous skyline in the distance. Similar image identified as near Wells, Nevada. Original photographer unknown, copy negative was made by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1915 or 1916. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "#2784 / 10 (cul) [crossed out] / 223--5 / 31 / Box 223".
