Image taken as part of long term commissioned work and documentation for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, ranging from 1910 through the 1940s. View of telephone poles stretching across a flooded plain, probably in Nevada, circa 1915. Mountain peaks seen on the horizon. Original photographer unknown, original negative number 1833. This copy negative was made by Rosenfeld in 1915 or 1916. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "#2790-B / 223-13 / c 1833 / Box 223". Sky over mountain area is masked out with red opaque on glass plate.
