View of women seated on benches in overcoats, appear to be waiting for an interview. A woman at a desk to the right signs one woman's name into a ledger while the other women remain seated. Identified as "Market School" on original negative sleeve. Probably the Telephone Company operator training school. Image taken on October 19, 1916. Women seen in various overcoats, each wearing wide rimmed hat. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "4833 10/19/16 / 385--5 / Market School / Telephone Co. / Box 385".
