Image taken as part of long term commissioned work and documentation for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, ranging from 1910 through the 1940s. View of telephone linemen running lines through cross arms, in White Plains, NY, on November 29, 1915. One man visible up in the cross arms while a group on the ground feeds cables. A man who appears to be a supervisor is seen posed against anchor cables on the right, wearing a suit, overcoat, and hat. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "3768 / 300--9 / 11/29/15 / S.G. / A.T.T. / Mr. Kent / White Plains Linemen / Box 300".
