Pre-ignighter for steam powered pond model SKIPPY; small, handmade funnel soldered to hollow 2" diameter disk with cotton tuft wick; according to donor, this would be filled with alcohol, the wick lit and set under the blowtorch nozzle of engine (see 2003.9.1AB) to heat the torch which would then heat the steam boiler.
