Visible in image: port quarter silhouette view of schooner on starboard tack running free with gaff-rigged main and fore sails, staysail, jib, outer jib and flying jib raised, "WANDER BIRD / SAN FRANCISCO" on stern, trolling line or taking log reading off stern, Warwick M. Tompkins private burgee- blue rectangle with white bird flying towards star- on mainmast, American Yacht Ensign on mainsail, yacht club burgee- possibly of the Ocean Yacht Club to which Mr. Tompkins belonged- on foremast, sparkly water and land in background.
