Stereograph; mounted on yellow card, square corners, rounded tops to photos, Caribbean shore scene, sloop at right, house on island or spit of land in background; men loading horse-drawn cart with long bound sheaves, possibly sugar cane; probably photographed by E.A. Scholfield, 1871 or 1877. Glass neg. 1977.160.2018. Identified as Protestant Cay in Christiansted Harbor, Harbor master's house, water catchment in front. Building still there except modern hotel built around it.
