Carte-de-visite of oil painting of Cunard Royal Mail Steam Ship SCOTIA by Samuel Walters (British, 1811-1882). On reverse is "PLAN OF THE ROYAL MAIL STEAM SHIP SCOTIA" showing various cabin layouts. In pencil is written: "342". SCOTIA (paddle wheel iron steamer, bu. 1862, by Robert Napier & Sons, Glasgow; last Cunard paddle steamer; sold to Telegraph Construction & Maintenance Co. in 1876, converted to twin screw cable ship; wrecked at Guam, 3/1904).
