In pencil is written: "342". SCOTIA (paddle wheel iron steamer, bu. 1862, by Robert Napier & Sons, Glasgow; last Cunard paddle steamer; sold to Telegraph Construction & Maintenance Co. in 1876, converted to twin screw cable ship; wrecked at Guam, 3/1904).
