Shadowbox model made by Herman Voigt (b. Germany ? 1872), ca. 1910, probably in Bridgeport, CT; decorative wood frame with eight 12-pointed square stars carved around frame, decorative pie-crust carved corners; diorama scene with port view of half hull rigged 4-masted bark ALMA, land at left with lighthouse, tower, fort, houses, windmill, at right a pilot boat (sloop) and land with two towers, church, houses, flag, painted wood back, sides, top and bottom; Voigt named the vessel for his second child who was born in 1905, probably in Bridgeport, CT
