Calabretta notes: children playing at seashore, with toy boat, etc. A model sailboat stands taller then the two boys who play with it in the surf, as a young girl passes by with a pail and shovel. The boys wear sailor suits, which are evidence of the the influence of the sea on fashion. The sand cliffs in the background are reminiscent of the coastline at Wellfleet on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
