Image of the 66' Bruce Kirby designed, Fred McConnel Marine Ltd. built 12 meter sloop CANADA II, sail #KC2 (built 1982 in Port Credit, Ontario) during the time of the 1986 Louis Vuitton Cup Races off Fremantle, Australia. Image is an aerial view of CANADA II running before the wind under marconi-rigged mainsail and spinnaker, maple leaf icon on stern, white hull with red stripe. CANADA, sail #KC1, was a 66' 12 metre sloop Bruce Kirby design, built by Fred McConnel Marine Ltd. of Port Credit, Ontario, Canada in 1982. She was renamed CANADA II, sail #KC2, for the 1986 Louis Vuitton Cup Races off Fremantle, Australia and was also refitted and lengthened to 65'7".
