Visible in image: cropped starboard bow view of EAGLE on a starboard close reach under mainsail and genoas as the hull is lost under a wall of water as it smashes through waves with only the genoa is visible. EAGLE, #US60, was a 66' sloop, built in 1986 by Williams & Manchester of Newport, Rhode Island from designs by Johan Valentijn to be a potential defender for the America's Cup in 1987.
