View of the locomotive off-centered to the right of the negative and 2 men on the ground standing next to one of the engine's metal wheels examining something. Several other crewmen are either on or standing next to several of the cars. Another railway crewman is to the left of the engine using a "siding telephone" attached by a wire to the telephone wire on the telephone pole to make a call most likely to the station ahead.
