Decorative half model on backboard, black with varnished waterline, sheer and toerail, of British cutter type vessel. On reverse: "ONE OF THE LAST OF THE PLYMOUTH "HOOKERS" BUILT AT LOOS (?) 1893/ 31' x 9'8" x 6"/ DAYSPRING". Model made by Major William Smyth (1888-1980) of Noank, CT.
