5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1917. The United States was in World War I at this time and as depicted by this image, so were the people on the home front even at a horse show. Two women stand talking on the left of the negative while a woman walking past them to their right is carrying a Red Cross bag, a sign of the times. To the right is a young officer in military uniform walking with a young women in equestrian clothing. No original negative number on neg. sleeve. Handwritten info.: "Horse Show 1917 / Box 300."
