5x7 glass plate photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1917 at a horse show at Piping Rock, Long Island Sound, New York. Closeup of a young woman, standing to the left, holding a crop and a silver cup in one hand and a horses bridle with the horse, to the right, with her other hand. Horse has an eastern saddle and there is a ribbon attached to the bridle. Young women is dressed in equestrian clothing with a long jacket, tie and hat. Handwritten negative sleeve: "#8 / Horse Show 1917 / Pipin[sic] Rock / Box 310". 3x5 card under "News" reads, "Horse Show at Piping Rock / 310". No original negative number.
