Foul weather pants made by Henri-Lloyd, England; yellow with black plastic bib strap buckles; pockets both sides of chest; black zipper and Velcro closure; Velco ankle cuffs; Henri-Lloyd name label inside back with handwritten name "CAPTN/ PINKNEY"; another label inside back "HENRI-LLOYD/ CROWN PROOFED/ BRI-NYLON/ MADE IN ENGLAND" with washing instructions. Worn by William Pinkney during his 1990-1992 solo sailing voyage around the world aboard his Valiant 47 sloop COMMITMENT, the first African American solo circumnavigation.
