5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons, ca. 1916 at the Harvard-Yale Race on the Thames River, New London, Connecticut. Long shot from a very elevated view looking either down or up the river of the racing scene with one of the racing shells underway in the center of the river and many spectator boats on either side watching the race fading away into the distance. To the right of the image is one large steam yacht, stern view, dressed, flying a YALE flag. No original negative numbers and no negative sleeve information.
