Image of 64'5" Britton Chance Jr. designed, Minneford Yacht Yard built 12 meter sloop INTREPID (built 1967 at City Island, NY) during the second race of America's Cup held off Newport, Rhode Island. Visible in image: starboard beam view of INTREPID (12 / US22) running before the wind under marconi-rigged mainsail and spinnaker, crew members are scattered about the deck tending lines.
