4x5 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons at the start of the Class B vessels at the Newport to Bermuda Race on June 18, 1960 on a fogbound day off of Newport, Rhode Island. Image of many sailing vessels, starboard beam view. On the far right edge of the negative is the unidentified stern of a large committee vessel. In the fog from left to right identified vessels are: CHICANE, an aux. sloop of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, sail #KB3, then CARMELITA, an aux. ketch, sail #681, then PACIFICA, a yawl, sail #19 and last the British sloop, DRUMBEAT, sail #1048.
