Souvenir coin made (after 1955) from copper spikes used in original construction of frigate CONSTELLATION and sold to raise money for restoration of the vessel; one side cast with US shield and 2 cannon and "THIS COIN STRUCK/ FROM PARTS OF THE/ FRIGATE/ CONSTELLATION/ THE FIRST SHIP/ OF THE U.S. NAVY"; other side cast with port view of ship under sail and "U. S. FRIGATE CONSTELLATION/ 1797"; duplicate of 2005.96.3.
