Image of ESCAPADE, a 72'6" auxiliary centerboard yawl, sail #108, designed by Phil Rhodes of Cox & Stevens and built by Luders Marine Construction Company of Stamford, CT in 1938. ESCAPADE is seen here undersail, port quarter/port beam view on a starboard tack with deck visible with a man sitting on bowsprit. Her owner in 1939 was Henry G.Fownes.
