Mast section; flat cross section of mast from J-Class yacht WHIRLWIND (built 1930; contender, America's Cup 1930) with sail slide track, 3 paper labels on back "245/B", "SPLIT/TO", and "245/C"; made of 60 pieces of wood laminated; varnished; printed on one side "SECTION/ of/ WHIRLWIND'S/ 1930/ MAST"; made by Bror Tamm when he worked at George Lawley & Son Corporation. Related to 2002.94.2. [Converted to gift from L.1985.56.1].
