2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch emulsion on paper black-and-white photograph of a group of US Navy sailors on liberty boat, circa 1942. Photos was probably taken from the bow of a liberty boat of about eighteen sailors heading ashore for liberty. All are in dark uniforms with white hats. Officers are seen in the the stern. See Henry Strauss transcript in Sound Archives. One sailor is clearly identified. Warren Greenfield. His face is seen 1" down from top of wavy photo edge and 1.125" from right wavy edge.
