From Henry Strauss transcript in Sound Archives:"This was in Newport Harbor before the war. And this was the ROWE. Which there were two one stack destroyers. One was called the BUCK and the other was called the ROWE and they operated in the North Atlantic, running convoys to the British. That was the undeclared war."
