2 13/16 x 4 1/8 inch emulsion on paper black-and-white photograph of a parade in a town in St. Thomas, circa 1942. A military regiment is marching in formation, rifles on shoulders, down a street lined with building two stories high. The hillside rises steadily to the right. Numerous local people line the street to watch. Two billboards are seen perched high on one of the buildings. One reads "Coca-Cola" while the other reads "Schlitz beer." There is an American flag on a flag pole on top of a building on the left.
