8 x 10 inch emulsion on paper black-and-white formal photograph of 33 members of the Bureau of Ships Administrative Division, Sept. 1945. Members of the US Navy and WAVES are positioned standing on risers in three rows with the circular seal of the Department of the Navy Bureau of Ships centered on the ground in front of the first row. Below the photo is a listing of who is in the photograph and their ranks. From Henry Strauss transcript in Sound Archives: "That’s the photographic section. And that’s Terzo, who was a Hollywood cameraman. The first one on the left. These were people that I didn’t know at all. Cause, this is a whole photographic unit. But he was a motion picture cameraman....Fourth from the left is the head of the section, Ken Shaftan."
