The day before Churchill and Roosevelt met." The Atlantic Conference (1941) established the Atlantic Charter (1941), an agreement signed by Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt on 14 Aug. 1941, in which Anglo-American war and peace aims were stated; incorporated in the Declaration of the United Nations, Jan. 1, 1942.
