Half model; unidentified varnished half model mounted on board; below waterline lifts in alternating dark and light wood, full keel, round stern; two metal frame hangers on back; handwritten on white label with red border on back "281". From manuscript collection #288 "Designed in Nyborg (Denmark - 1910-1911) has been called the most beautiful boat by all danes who saw it. Boatbuilder Jensen (Nyborg-Koge), a great boat expert had never seen anything like it. Created a great hit when shown to some danish yachtsmen (on boat [?] and Copenhagen) design show. The great master of Scandinavia AK GUSTATSON said "BROR" you have me beat - Bror Du has stukat mig [?]. This from Swedes greatest man on this type of boat. Boat never built. Model made 1914-18 when working in Lawleys mould [?] loft".
