Image of the Canadian schooner BLUENOSE, sail #1, on the left racing closely side-by-side against the American schooner HENRY FORD, sail #7, on the right, both showing a starboard quarter view on a mild starboard tack. HENRY FORD was a 139' Gloucester schooner fisherman built in 1922 by Arthur Dana Story of Essex, Mass. from designs by Tom McManus. BLUENOSE was a 143' Lunenberg Canadian built in 1921 by G. A.
