Kolasa, two breast pockets, pants pocket and slit to reach under suit on each side, carpenter tool pocket on right side, two back pockets; printed in blue above left breast pocket "COAST GUARD"; printed in blue on back "U.S./ COAST/ GUARD"; American flag patch on left sleeve; white circular patch on right sleeve features a triangle around "U.S./ COAST/ GUARD", on edges of triangle "RECOGNITION/ EVALUATION/ CONTROL", under triangle blue cross, to right of triangle staff of Asclepius, to left of triangle a half-full beaker, around edge of patch "INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE/ ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH/ SAFETY" with each section divided by a star; blue patch above right breast pocket reads, in white "KOLASA"; octagonal patch above name patch is white, trimmed with gold, has a red stripe running diagonally from bottom-most left corner to upper-most right corner, smaller blue stripe running parallel above it, center of the patch has a circle outlined in gold, inside written in gold "GUARDIANS/ OF THE/ GULF" with outline of the states bordering Gulf coast, written around circle in black "U.S. COAST GUARD/ EIGHTH DISTRICT".
