Lighter; U.S. Coast Guard cutter COURIER (built as COASTAL MESSENGER, 1946) Scripto lighter owned by USCG sailor Peter Kolasa, after 1955; cigarette lighter, thin rectangular case with rounded top corners, top attachd with hinge, 1/2 inch blue band around middle, transparent lower portion shows card with three-quarter bird's eye view of COURIER on one side with printed label "USCGC Courier WTR-410", COURIER logo on other side with printed around circle "USCGC COURIER/ WTR-410"; printed inside plastic enclosure "Hold Lighter Upright And/ Press Valve Before/ Transferring Fuel In Flight"; printed on bottom "U.S. PATs./ D-180,401/ 2,881,608/ CANADA/ PAT.60RD.57/ MADE U.S.A."; printed on chimney "VU-LIGHTER/ by/ Scripto/ INC."
