35mm color slide photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in May of 1958. Partial view of VIM on the left showing a stern port quarter view on a starboard tack, close hauled, and ONDINE, #281, background right, starboard side abeam on a port tack with the spinnaker on a reach in a calm sea. VIM was a 70' 12 meter sloop, #US15, built in 1939 by H.B. Nevins in City Island, New York from designs by Sparkman & Stephens. ONDINE, sail #281, was built in 1953 by Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder, Germany from designs by H. Rasmussen. Mount info. processor's stamp: "Made in U.S.A. / (black) 5".
