Image of GLEAM, #US11, on the left, leading VIM, #US15, on the right in the foreground, both undersail, port tack, port stern quarter view, close reach, main and jib, calm sea. VIM was a 70' 12 meter sloop, built in 1939 by H.B. Nevins in City Island, New York from designs by Sparkman and Stephens. GLEAM was a 67' 11" 12 meter sloop, built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc., of City Island, New York from, designs by Clinton Hoadley Crane in 1937. Mount info. processor's stamp: "(red) 12 / Made in U.S.A.". Embossed: "MAY 58.".
