35mm color slide photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in August of 1972. Image of WINDIGO, sail #354, stern quarter view, starboard leeward. port tack, reaching with jib, main, mizzen staysail and mizzen set creating good wake. Good view of deck, both deck cabins and crew. WINDIGO was a 73' auxiliary yawl, built in 1956 by Henry R. Hinkley of Southwest Harbor, Maine from designs by Sparkman & Stephens. Original name was VENTURER and was renamed in 1961 as NORTHERN LIGHT, then AUDACIOUS in 1964, WINDIGO II in 1968 and WINDIGO in 1974. Owner from 1968-1973 was Walter S. Gubelman. Mount info. stamped: "(black) 28 / AUG 72N4". Stamped in blue: "BY STANLEY ROSENFELD". Manufacturer's info.: "Kodachrome TRANSPARENCY / PROCESSED BY Kodak".
