Image is a closeup of the port side aft of the stern of TENACIOUS with two men standing talking in the cockpit and a third man, Ted Turner, standing at the starboard side rail to the right. TENACIOUS was a 61'3" auxiliary sloop, sail #6998, custom designed by Sparkman and Stephens to the International Offshore Rule (IOR), and built by Palmer Johnson Boat Works for Ted Turner in 1978.
