Mears (1829-1899); Christmas card in envelope, image of a wise man on a camel printed both on the inside flap of the envelope, as well as on the front of the card itself; red 2 cent stamp of Washington's head is placed on the front of the envelope; addressed to "Precious", which was the nickname of Nellie G. Mears; handwritten on the front of the envelope "PRECIOUS/ 2 HOME AVE/ BI?? N.Y."; printed on front of card "Christmas Greetings/ and all good wishes for your happiness/ in the New Year"; printed on back lower left-hand corner of card "MADE/ IN/ U.S.A."; handwritten on back of card "Merry Christmas/ Lottie".
