Ring; Monogrammed ring; from the collection of Captain Richard C. Mears (1829-1899); metal ring with a flat surface on the top for engraving; engraved into the ring are the initials "E.J."; most likely belonged to Emma Josephine Van Valkenburgh (daughter of Nellie Mears Van Valkenburgh).
